The favorite part of my day was… Watching Sophie sign her letter of intent for track & field next year at Linfield University!!! ..getting these pictures sent to me from Mr. Stuart with the chess team at the state tournament…& watching our students in Jack & the Beanstalk. The favorite part of my day was… Getting the following message & email from Mr. Swenson… We had another great FFA trip today, this time to Clackamas for the Sectional contest. Sawyer placed 3rd in Extemporaneous public speaking & our Conduct team placed 1st, and are going to the State Contest! The state contest will take place at the FFA State Convention, which will be March 21-24 in Redmond. The favorite part of my day was… Seeing the great turnout for our Missoula Children’s Theater week (come see the performances Friday & Saturday nights!)…& the FFA officer posters hanging in the school as they are on their way to FFA Sectionals! The favorite part of my day was… Seeing the county come out & support our boys basketball team in the Dalles at the Big Sky District Championship game. The favorite part of my day was… All of today’s after school activities…the Scholarship Association meeting…the STEAM night including the making of pinewood derby cars…gaming club…& the boys basketball district playoff game! Superintendent Fall #EveryKidEveryDay100WhateverItTakes

🏀The Big Sky League requires schools to charge for league play off games. Ticket prices for tonight's game will be $8 for adults and $5 for students. 🏀 Goooo Huskies!! 🐾

🐾Attention Husky Fans!🐾 Due to the possibility of more inclement weather moving in tonight, this evening's basketball game time against Spray/Mitchell/Wheeler has moved to 5:00 p.m.!🏀 Let's pack the stands and show up in full force to cheer on the Huskies!

2-hour delay Due to winter road conditions throughout the county & on bus routes, Sherman County School will be on a 2-hour delay. Buses will pick up students 2 hours later than their usual time. Thank you and stay safe!

The favorite part of my day was… Seeing day 2 of the OMSI experiments in our science lab…nominating one of our teachers for Oregon Teacher of the Year…seeing the Valentines balloons Miss Vassar brought to school for EACH kindergarten student…seeing what the leadership class added to the high school hallway…& seeing Mr. Kido heading outside after school to work with a baseball player in preparation for the season. I’m fortunate to get to see all areas of the school on any given day…Good days & tough days, we all have a choice in how we show up & are present & today was a great example of seeing both staff & students CHOOSING to show up for each other…Another day full of opportunities seized by many.
