Sherman County FFA is comprised of a group of dedicated and ambitious individuals that seek to become better individuals through participation in the FFA; the world's largest student run organization. The local FFA Chapter is involved in many school and community events throughout the year, and also competes at a number of Career Development Event and Leadership Development Event contests during the school year and summer. Students have the opportunity to develop their skills as public speakers, sales persons, welders, crop and livestock producers, parliamentarians, increase their knowledge on current and pressing agricultural topics and issues facing the agriculture industry today, and many more. Although first known for being the future farmers of America, today's FFA allows students to be informed individuals seeking skills to better their future.
