The favorite part of my day was… Bringing staff back together for our professional development day and seeing our new Principal, Mr. Kroll speaking Spanish while welcoming in a new family to help them register. #EveryKid.EveryDay.100%.WhateverItTakes

The Sherman County School District Board of Directors will hold a Regular Board Meeting on Monday, August 14, 2023. A board training session, which is open to the public, will be held at 5:30 p.m. with the regular meeting starting at approximately 7:00 p.m. in the Sherman County Public/School Library Program Room. The favorite part of my day was… All the field day activities with K-6…seeing the joy in the students’ faces as they pied Mrs. Miller, Mr. Lewis & myself in the face…getting competitive with staff during our staff potluck…& ending the day with our boys basketball tournament. The favorite part of my day was… Being at our end of the year 1st-6th grade awards assembly. The academic growth & achievements that were shared & acknowledged…there is much for our students & families to be proud of this 2022-2023 school year. Principal Fall #EveryKid.EveryDay.100%.

The favorite part of my day was… Seeing the kindergarten students perform during their “I Can” show. Principal Fall #EveryKid.EveryDay.100%.

The favorite part of my day was… Seeing the results of Mr. Lewis losing his friendly bet with Sophie…& hearing the 6th grade speeches. Well done 6th grade students!!! Principal Fall #EveryKid.EveryDay.100%.

The favorite part of my day was… Team meetings…first with our combined Leadership & PBIS teams…followed by our staff meeting…capped off by our new Principal Trent joining us to meet the staff. Great way to wrap up another busy week. Principal Fall #EveryKid.EveryDay.100%.

The favorite part of my day was… Catching the tail end of the intense 3rd grade 4-square championships…complete with medals & referees (courtesy of Ms. McLean & Miss Samantha) Principal Fall #EveryKid.EveryDay.100%.

The favorite part of my day was… Getting pictures sent to me from Mr. Swenson during the 8th grade field trip…seeing the different staff members dress up as Mr. Lewis, Miss Debbie, or Mr. Owens honoring them as they near retirement…& joining the girls summer ball practice! The favorite part of my day was… Getting pictures sent to me from the 1st grade field trip…& seeing summer ball getting up and going—girls practice & boys games! Principal Fall #EveryKid.EveryDay.100%.

The favorite part of my day was… GRADUATION! Such special moments when the seniors thanked & honored their families with the flower ceremony…Mr. Lewis sharing his thoughts with the graduating class, so well done Mr. Lewis—we’ve been lucky to have you…& Seeing our 12 graduates finally get to toss their caps in the air. The favorite part of my day was… Joining with community members, organizations, staff, families & friends to be a part of awarding our seniors with thousands upon thousands of dollars in scholarships. Our students are so well supported by the greater community! Principal Fall #EveryKid.EveryDay.100%.

The favorite part of my day was… Laughing during all of the Mr. Husky skits... Bob Ross, Captain Jack, & LaMelo Ball had us all laughing, whether they meant to or not :) Congrats LaMelo! Principal Fall #EveryKid.EveryDay.100%.
