The Sherman County School District Board of Directors will hold a Regular Board Meeting on Monday, ​May 12, 2025 in the Sherman County Public/School Library Program Room. An executive session in accordance with ​ORS 192.660(2)(i)​ and ORS 192.660(2)(​d) will take place at 6:00 p.m., followed by the regular meeting at approximately 6:30 p.m. Please find the agenda under the school board section of the website.

The favorite part of my day was… Seeing high school poetry on display in the hallway…working on plans for next school year…& hearing staff give shoutouts to colleagues & students at our staff meeting. The favorite part of my day was… Seeing the mutual admiration between our staff & students…Craig is & always will be a student favorite…& being personally invited by Royce to an intense game of kindergarten kickball, an all-time playground favorite! When we remember to pay attention & be present, we are able to see the good things happening right in front of us & can then make a positive impact on those we are here to serve, whether it’s a kindergartner on the playground or a junior in high school in a tough situation. Today was a great reminder of the power a moment can have when people feel seen & heard. The favorite part of my day was… Welcoming Mrs. Mobley back into the building for her artist in residence with our elementary classes…seeing the student leadership elections flyers posted…& seeing this year’s class of students be inducted into the National Honor Society (last night)…We are actively looking to get students more involved in leadership opportunities at school-get involved & help to continue to make our school the best it can be! The favorite part of my day was… Seeing the cards Mrs. Bagwell received from 3rd grade in recognition of Assistant Principal week. We are so fortunate to have her as one of our school leaders! …& meeting with our staff leadership team, working on plans for next school year…& catching some of our home baseball game & and watching our boys battle it out.
