The Sherman County School District Board of Directors will hold a Regular Board Meeting on Monday, November 17, 2025 in the Sherman County Public/School Library Program Room. An executive session in accordance with ORS 192.660(2)(k) will take place at 6:00 p.m., followed by the regular meeting at approximately 6:30 p.m. There will be an excutive session for ORS 192.660(2)(i) at the end of the meeting. Please find the agenda under the school board section of the website.

📚 Parent-Teacher Conferences Tomorrow! 🍎 We’re looking forward to seeing our K-12 families tomorrow, Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM for conferences! ✅ K-5 Parents: Most of you have already scheduled your conference times—thank you! If you haven’t, please call the school to set up a time. ✅ 6-12 Parents: Conferences are walk-in — stop by anytime! 📖 While you’re here, don’t forget to visit the Book Fair! There’s a K-5 section and a 6-12 section with great reads for every age.
📅 Conference Week Schedule Reminder! Wednesday, November 5 will be a full day of school with conferences from 4:00–8:00 p.m. Also, SKORE is canceled on Wednesday. On Thursday, November 6 there will be no school for students, and conferences will take place from 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. There will be no school for students or staff on Friday, November 7 and Monday, November 10. Tuesday, November 11 is also a no school day in observance of Veterans Day. Enjoy the extended break after conferences!

It’s time for Picture Day Retakes on Tuesday, November 4! 😄 If you didn’t order the first time, you can order online at my.lifetouch.com using Picture Day ID: EVTBJ9NWZ. 📦 Retake order packets are also available in the office if you’d prefer not to order online. If your student would like a retake, please return the original picture packet to the photographer on retake day. Students can sign up in the office. ✏️
🚧 Attention Wasco Families! 🚍 Due to road construction, the bus is unable to drop students off at the Wasco Train Depot today. Instead, students will be dropped off at the Bank of Eastern Oregon ATM machine in Wasco 🏦. This change is in effect today, and we’ll provide updates if the situation continues beyond today. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility!
