After careful analysis of road conditions this morning Sherman County School will again be engaged in a CDL (virtual) schedule today (January 4th). We ask that all students log onto their respective Google Meets at 8:15 a.m. We truly apologize for the inconveniences that school adjustments cause for our parents and staff, but please know these decisions are made with safety as our top priority. Please be safe as the substantial moisture yesterday created extremely slick conditions on various roads with the freezing temperatures last night. Thank you!

All after school activities/practices are canceled today, January 3.

The December 30th high school basketball games in Wallowa have been canceled due to winter road conditions. Stay safe and we will see you in the new year!

Today's high school basketball games in Prairie City have been canceled due to winter road conditions.

Today's basketball game at home vs. Dayville/Monument has been canceled due to winter road conditions. This game has been tentatively rescheduled for 12/28.

Weather update - all afterschool activities (SKORE, Jr. High Boys and Girls Basketball, and High School Boys and Girls Basketball) have been canceled today. There will be no activity buses running.

It's snowing! Understanding that it is difficult for parents/guardians to alter their daily routines, we are not currently planning on an early release unless there is significant accumulation. Buses may depart 10 minutes early to allow for safer travel time. We are actively monitoring the weather, stay tuned for updates.
