
Sherman County School Community...This is a message for December 9, 2022...As always, our top priority is the safety of our students and staff. We also understand that no perfect decision exists when predicting weather and road conditions. With this said, Sherman County School will be on a two hour delay tomorrow. Road conditions will be reassessed in the morning. If a decision is made to close for the full day, it will be announced prior to 7:45 a.m.

Sherman County School Community...This message is regarding December 6th, 2022. After reevaluating road conditions again this morning, Sherman County School will be on a 2-Hour Delay to allow more travel time to school for students, staff, and parents. Buses will start their routes two hours later than normal. We apologize for the inconveniences that school delays and closures cause, but we want to ensure the safety of our students, staff and school community.

Good morning Sherman County School Parents, Guardians, Students and Staff…This is an updated message for December 5, 2022. As always, our top priority is the safety of our students and staff. After assessing auxiliary road conditions this morning and conferring with transportation and local road officials, Sherman County School will be closed today. All after school activities, games and practices have been cancelled. As a reminder, this school closure day automatically turns Friday, December 9th into a full day Friday schedule.

This is a message regarding Monday, December 5, 2022. Sherman County
School will be on a two hour delay tomorrow, December 5, 2022 to allow more time to assess road conditions in the County and for students, parents, staff and busses to travel safe to school during day light hours. It was our goal to share this information this evening to give everyone the opportunity to prepare in advance for tomorrow. We will continue to closely monitor the weather, temperatures, and road conditions through the evening and early morning. Thank you!

Seeing a 7th grade student sitting with a kindergarten student this morning at breakfast & offering to help him open his cereal when he was having a hard time doing so. Kindness matters, & hits differently when it’s from student to student & completely unprovoked & unprompted.

Our K-6 awards assembly today. Led so well by our K-6 student council, our future leaders of the school. And having the high school leadership students as visitors in the audience was great for our younger students to see.
