Regrettably, today’s basketball 🏀 games at Horizon Christian (1/12) are canceled due to inclement weather ❄️. We’re actively working on rescheduling for possibly next week, but confirmation is pending. Tomorrow’s games 1/13 at Sherman against Lyle/Wishram are also canceled due to transportation challenges caused by the weather. We’ll reschedule those games too, with the date still TBD. Your understanding is appreciated, and we’ll keep you informed. Go Huskies 🐾!!!

The favorite part of my day was… Seeing Nova & Clara all dressed up for the “accessories” spirit day, complete with ear muffs & Cindy Loo-Hoo hair. These two bring so much joy each day to our school along with the rest of our students… Having a coaching & philosophy conversation with one of our coaches… Receiving these cards at my office from the awesome 2nd grade classes… & Hearing about the holiday carolers stopping by our house this evening! I am grateful for each student & staff member & what they contribute to our school community. I wish everyone a safe, happy, & restful winter break.
